Niccolò
(named after Italian virtuoso Niccolò Paganini 1782-1840)
Meet my newest little maestro, Niccolò. He’s been practicing his tunes all morning, though he might need a tiny tea break with cake before his big solo. 😉
Crafted from wonderfully shaggy, soft cream mohair with warm cocoa brown backing, he has a plucked face and paw pads. He has shiny black wired glass eyes and hand stitched features. Niccolò is wearing his cozy fair isle pattern bobble hat tipped with a brown pom-pom and a scarf fastened with a broken button. Traditionally cotter pin jointed for gentle posing.
Niccolò comes with his vintage style violin and wand, a tiny wooden bowl filled with little metal 'coins' from appreciative listeners and little wooden steps where he performs.
This sweet musician is looking for his forever home and is ready for adoption now.
Please email Penny at: [email protected] if you would like to adopt this bear.
Niccolò is £78.95 with free postage
Postage prices all include tracked delivery:
International postage prices are approximate, I always weigh the parcel for the cheapest price.
Europe £14, U.S.A. £16.50, R.O.W. £12 I should be very grateful if overseas adopters would pay 'send money to friends and family overseas' to avoid the PayPal fees.
My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
