Sunflower Hedgehog
Introducing Sunflower, my latest little creation! This precious lady hedgehog looks like she’s just wandered out of a sunny woodland clearing. She is lovingly crafted from a soft, grey toned viscose body and legs and a spectacularly wild, shaggy mane of mottled brown spikes. With her rosy, blushed cheeks and wired glass black eyes she has the most gentle and innocent expression.
True to her name, she proudly holds a beautiful, bright crocheted sunflower with green leaves, bringing a little piece of sunshine wherever she goes! She also has a lovely fat tum, full of clean steel punchings and perhaps a little crumb of cake from a woodland picnic! 😉

My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
