Barley Boy
This is Barley Boy, my latest little bear. He is made from a beautiful, very pale gold mohair, long and shaggy. Barley Boy has amber wired glass eyes and hand embroidered features. His embroidered paw pads are soft suede and he is cotter pin jointed as usual. Barley Boy is wearing his extra special hand knitted beanie. This beanie is knitted from hand spun dog fur, mainly Lhasa Apso and it is incredibly soft. Please be aware if you have an allergy to dogs.
Barley Boy measures 14cm.

My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
