🐻 Meet Speckle – a large, velvety bear with a coat so soft and silky, it might just be the most luxurious fur I’ve ever worked with ❤️
His fur is a dreamy blend of browns and dove greys, with darker accents and delicate speckled and white fronds that shimmer and shift in the light. It’s a tricky fur to tame, but definitely worth it.
He has black wired glass eyes rimmed with antique lace whites, a hand-sculpted clay nose, and soft ear inners and paw pads that add to his gentle charm. Weighted with steel punchings and stuffed with polyfibre, he’s got a satisfyingly solid feel and is fully cotter pin jointed, as always.
Speckle measures approx. 30cm and carries himself with quiet elegance and a touch of woodland mystery.

My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
