Professor Quentin Walker

Meet Professor Quentin Walker 📚🐻
Professor Q. is a distinguished old gent — a grandson of my very first bear, Bert ❤️ He’s made from a similar pattern, using wonderfully curly, sparse pale gold mohair that gives him a delightfully scruffy, well-read look.
He’s fully cotter pin jointed and has amber glass eyes rimmed with lace whites, giving him a thoughtful, scholarly gaze. His features are all hand embroidered, and he wears his gold-rimmed specs (no glass, of course — just for style).
The Professor always carries his books with him — and yes, they’re filled with real pages!
He measures 14cm — small in size, but full of stories, wisdom, and bearish charm.
Please email Penny at: [email protected] if you would like to adopt this bear.
Professor Quentin Walker is £58
Postage:
  UK: £5.50,
(free U.K. postage if adopting more than one bear)
Europe £14,   U.S.A. £21.50,   R.O.W. £19

I should be very grateful if overseas adopters would pay 'send money to friends and family overseas' to avoid the PayPal fees.

My bears are made from 100% German mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
