Marta Mouse
Marta Mouse is made from a very beautiful, dusky pink viscose, incredibly soft to the touch and very fine.
It has been shaded on her paws for a vintage look. Marta has Thai silk lined ears, this is used again for her tail, which is poseable. Her little hind paws have long toes for bounding around.
She has black, glass eyes, around, shiny nose and her features are hand embroidered. She also has thread whiskers. Marta is a bear with a musical talent, she has with her a hand painted, distressed look wooden violin and bow, with lace detail. She also has a satin flower and antique lace corsage.
Marta measures 14.5cm.
Marta does not stand on her own, only for the purposes of her photo shoot.
My bears are made from 100% German mohair or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
