Marcus
This is Marcus, my latest bear from my collection of special, medium sized bears. He is badly in need of some tlc! 😉 He is made from a soft, wavy viscose, once cream but now dirty, worn and stained (by me!!). Marcus has amber wired glass eyes with extra lids, plus hand embroidered features and claws. Marcus is heavily weighted with steel punchings in his very big fat tum! He is cotter pin jointed as usual.
Marcus measures 22.5cm.

My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
