Little Lea
Little Lea is a woodland fairy bear, made from stone coloured viscose with shading to her cheeks.
Her features are hand embroidered and she has wild wool hair.
Little Lea is dressed in an outfit made from dyed fleece, fabric flowers, frayed yarn and wild wool.
She has double fabric wings, delicately tinted in green and pink.
Lea is nestled on a blanket of wild wool in green and grey, which lies on an impressed, burnt brass effect metal leaf, decorated with green crackle glaze. This has legs that enable the leaf to be positioned in two different ways. The blanket is removable.
Lastly, Little Lea's bird friend sits near her head, attached to the leaf with wire.
Little Lea measures 11cms, not including her headdress.
My bears are made using traditional components. Each one is 5-way cotter pin jointed, with wired glass eyes and steel shot filling. They are collectable items, unsuitable as toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
