Hester Hedgehog

​Here is Hester Hedgehog, a coy little girl. She is made from 2 fabrics, his body in pale beige mohair and her 'prickles' in a luxury white-tipped fur. There is shading to her face and body. Hester has wired eyes, lace whites and embroidered features. Her head is cotter pin jointed and her legs have little mother of pearl buttons to hold her string jointing. She has a little pin nose and lots of steel punchings in her very fat tum! Hester Hedgehog measures 15cms.
My bears are made from 100% German mohair, silk or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in!
Some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass. 
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
 The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings 
and some polyfibre stuffing.
 These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
