Gustave

Gustave  is my newest bear in my latest design. At 22 cm tall, he is larger than my miniature bears, with long, bent arms and legs, and oversized feet. Gustave is made from sparse, silky, golden mohair, slightly shaded to his cheeks and around his eyes. He has a large head, with very large black glass eyes, and his features, claws and 'mended' bits are hand embroidered. Gustave is wearing his well-used painter's smock and his black beret. He has two paintbrushes and an artist's palette ready to put the finishing touches to his original watercolour (by me!) Easel included.
My bears are made using traditional components. Each one is 5-way cotter pin jointed, with wired glass eyes and steel shot filling. They are collectable items, unsuitable as toys.
