Furball
Furball is a new bear from my collection of larger bears. He is a little different, as he is made from real fur. The dark body and head fur is made from patches (possibly rabbit) and is coarser than the very soft muzzle fur, which I think is mink.
Furball has large amber wired glass eyes and is very heavily weighted with steel punchings, he is stuffed with polyfibre and mohair scraps. I hand sculpted his nose and he has no cotter pin joints.
Furball measures 25cms seated.

My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
