Fairy Anya
Presenting Fairy Anya, my very first fairy doll!
She took a huge amount of time to make but is hopefully worth it. She is a bit of a punk fairy, wearing whatever takes her fancy. She is designed and created by me and she is an ooak rag doll.
Anya is made from dyed cotton with painting to her face and cheeks. She has wired black glass eyes, her features are hand embroidered and she has wild wool hair. Her head and arms are cotter pin jointed.
Fairy Anya is dressed in an outfit made from all sorts of materials, including net, voile, cotton, braiding, felt and satin ribbon and roses. She even has stripy cotton shorts hidden under her multi layered skirt! Her wings are glittery pink with pale blue voile backing and she comes with her little butterfly friend.
Fairy Anya measures 35cms from her boots to the top of her head.
Anya is filled with lovely, clean steel punchings and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' dolls made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
