Danylo and Georgiy

Danylo and his little brother, Georgiy, are orphaned Ukranian bears. They are getting by, Danylo playing his fiddle and Georgiy offering their hat for donations, of which they have a few. All their belongings are in their battered suitcase. But they are happy as they have each other and won't ever be parted. Danylo is made from a few mohairs, with dark amber glass eyes, rimmed in antique lace. He is fully cotter pin jointed and his features are hand embroidered. Little brother, Georgiy is made from a fuzzy, sparse mohair, again with rimmed glass eyes, this time pale amber. He is fully cotter pin jointed. Both bears are dressed.
Danylo measures 13.5cm. and Georgiy is approximately 9cm.

My bears are made from 100% German mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
