Standing at just 13cm tall, Cobweb is made from long, tangled mohair in a pale honey toast shade, thinned and scruffy in all the right places. He has one amber glass eye and one mismatched vintage button, giving him that slightly startled, lopsided look of a bear who’s seen a bit of history.
His nose and mouth are hand-stitched with dark thread, and his little ears are almost lost in his unruly fur. Cobweb wears a frayed scrap of bandage tied around his head, and a small bandage on his foot, secured with a rusty safety pin. He’s a bit tattered and very shy, just waiting for a new friend to pick him up and love him.

My bears are made from 100% German mohair or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in! They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys.
