Cheryl and baby Bear
Cheryl needs no introduction to us in the U.K.!!! Here she is with her new baby, Bear.
Cheryl is made from a sparse, brown mohair, soft and silky. She has large very black glass eyes with lace rimmed whites and her features are hand embroidered. Naturally, Cheryl has not abandoned her make-up at this busy time and is looking glamorous in heavy false lashes and plenty of rouge!
She is fully cotter pin jointed as usual and she is made using my large head pattern.
Bear is a needle felted little baby in a furry shawl. This is not removable. He has wired eyes and a little glass nose.
Cheryl measures 15.5cms.
My bears are made from 100% German mohair or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
