Bare Bear
Bare Bear is a new bear from my collection of special, medium sized bears. He is so named as he is almost completely bereft of fur, poor thing!!
Bare Bear has wired glass eyes and hand embroidered features and claws. He has lots and lots of mending, shading, trimming and plucking, it takes a lot of work to look as good as this!!!
He is quite heavily weighted with steel punchings in his big fat tum and he is cotter pin jointed as usual.

My bears are made from 100% mohair, silk, alpaca or viscose, with the occasional faux fur and plush thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
