Agnes Witch
Agnes Waterhouse, also known as Mother Waterhouse, was and is one of the most famous witches England has ever seen.
My new bear made isn't half as scary!!!
Made from a very beautiful Helmbold mohair,
it is teddy gold and very dense.
Agnes has very large amber glass eyes and her features
and claws are hand embroidered.
She is fully cotter pin jointed as usual.
Agnes is wearing her felt witch's hat with attached 'hair'. This is removable. She has a tum full of clean steel punchings and measures 15cms. without the hat!
She has her bisom made from twigs and a felted pumpkin with fleece embellishments.
My bears are made from 100% German mohair, silk or viscose, with the occasional faux fur thrown in!
They are 5 way cotter pin jointed, and some of my minis are string jointed. They have wired glass eyes, some of which are hand blown antique glass.
My bears etc. are generally around 11cm tall when seated and so are classed as miniature bears, although they can be quite stocky fellows!
The bears are filled with lovely, clean steel punchings
and some polyfibre stuffing.
These are collectors' bears made using materials and traditional components that make them unsuitable as children's toys. Every one arrives with a signed and dated certificate.
